well kudos to motojack. Now, remember, it wasnt the motojack he had, but the guys from motojack saw a pic of his bike and are hooking him up with one of their racks.

That reminds me of a friend back in the 70's that was using bumper racks on his station wagon to haul his bike back from the races. He and his buddies had been enjoying adult sodas and other things with the stereo blasting. Well, the racks broke loose but the tie downs held and he dragged the bike long enough to wear nearly have way through the bike. They claim to have never heard anything. I just LMAO

Think those dings in the pipe will rob him of power?
Yeah, I think ASV should use this story for their next ad campaign. If I were UMXhauler, I'd be considering a name and address change by now. Guess you just can't get away with bad customer service these days with those *%#@! internet forums making your business public like this.

i cant read the threads but i think the same thing happened to me. i was using an imitation rack from oklahoma (gc carriers). the hooks that go through the pegs were on tight (used a cheater bar to make sure they were extra tight). i was driving down the interstate to my local shop, hit a bump on the road, and one of the hooks popped out. it shifted the bike to where the front tire was on the road dragging behind me and the rear wheel was aloft. the second hook held the bike on, thank god, all the while some lady was tailgating me even though i had my blinkers on, was draggin a motorcycle, and was trying to get on the side. had that bike come off i shutter to imagine how many car accidents i would have caused. purchased a truck that day.
