MT125 : No Spark!!!

Hey guys, I just bought a motor for my MT125. The motor is in good condition and the previous own said it ran well before. I place the motor in my bike and connect all the things the need 2 be done and check if there is spark. Nothing. So i go back and check all the wires and everything seems to be connected well. I then checked the points and the looked like thry were fine and should fire in the settings that they were at. What else could be wrong with the bike that would make no spark? I dont really think it is anything internal in the motor because it previously ran. My next thought was the Coil? Which is attached to the frame and mounted under the gas tank. Is there anyway to Check/Test the coil 2 see if there is spark getting through it or not? Some kind of energy tester or what not? What could my problem be?

Sometimes the coil to frame bolt is the earth for the coil,is it tight and clean,no
paint?
