Searching for Single Track in September

Well I searched every possible site for info on single track in the Western U.S. It seems that great single track riding spots have become so rare, that no one wants to divulge info.
I would like to plan a trip to one of these 3 general areas to enjoy 4 days of primitive tent camping and single-track riding.
1. Durango/Silverton, CO area
2. Bend OR area
3. Santa Rosa, NM area
I looked everywhere for info. Not interested in visiting an OHV park with 20 miles of trails. I'm looking for cool temps and 60 plus miles of trails, crazy out in the middle of nowhere stuff.
Can anyone suggest any spots?

There were plenty of miles of trails in the Divide, CO area when we went there for the COSF in 99. More here: http://www.off-road.com/dirtbike/nov99/spdby/
At that elevation (9K or so?) it should be plenty cool.

Spoke to Larry at L&M Productions. The dude is the bomb. He has trail maps, helmet cam videos of riding areas, and great first-hand knowledge of some sweet riding spots out west.
