Are it250 motors interchangable in it175 frames?

I don't think so. The 175 was a much lighter and smaller bike than the 250. I've never taken a tape measure to either frame or motor, but the 175 seems to be more similar in exterior dimensions to a 125 than the IT250. If you have an older IT175 frame around, maybe a slightly newer IT200 motor would fit.

I owned an IT175. It was based on the less-costly YZ100; yes: 100, although many components swapped with the 125.
The 250 shares few parts with the 175.
