motocross in nc?

hey guys,im planning on moving to nc just south of
charlotte around monroe or waxhaw.i have been told
there is a lot of riding and racing around there,
but not by anyone who rides. is this true. id hate to be
hours from the nearest motocross anything.if anyone
can help answer this i'd be greatful

Hello Ed,
I sent you an email yesterday I believe. If you settle near the 485 outer belt, you will be within 1-1.5 hours from a few places. Most of the places we ride are North, West, and South of Charlotte. There used to be a track in monroe but I have never been there and it has closed a time or two over the years.
Go to that NCDirtrider.com link I sent and mapquest those addresses from Waxhaw/Monroe to get a better idea. I think Andrews is going to be one of the closer ones to Monroe. TNT in Chester might be good for Waxhaw.

try TNT. its located on i-77 south on exit 55. its only an hour or so for us because we live two minutes off of exit 47 on 485!

If you are an A/Pro rider, you'll have a good time at Andrews. I'm not, and I only went down there one time. Way too serious for me...TNT, on the other hand, is awesome. The NCDirtRider site will help you a lot.
