Where's any mention of music, guitars for the campfires? We have some talented musicians and singers in the bunch, like yourself, Jeff, and there's Jaybird and Mr. Swift. Who else?

Jaybird & I have exchanged pm's already. Thinking it's going to be another acoustic event this year, kind of limited in the room for musical equipment this year

YEAH BABY!!!!

BTW, I'm spending several hundred dollars upgrading my suspension for this event!!!!! Hoping the CRF250X will be more user friendly on the MX track!!!!

Only 13 for me ... I have bunches of stuff to do.

I can't wait! I'm so bored with our local riding area, plus this weekend it was closed down for a race. Spent all day Saturday tweaking on the RM with no way to try out my mods. The track and the trails will be fun, but the simpler stuff like just an open grassy field or a chat around a campfire with friends will be great. The cool night air, putting on an extra layer before going to bed. Finding every combination of grilled burritos possible. I love it!

Got to admit, I wasnt "mentally" ready for DW yet... but as of yesterday, I am all jazzed up. Went to a local event yesterday, called Watercross. Never heard of this before, but we had a blast. Really didnt think snowmobiles would stay up in water, but they did and it was soooo much like Dirtweek. The food, the vendors, the races, the smell of racing fuel, the noise!! It was a great prep for Dirtweek. See ya'll in a week!! We hit the road in 3 days...

Sorry to hear that Jeff. Matt

Okay, no more ungoers allowed.
End of story.

We'll miss you jeff and my speaking voice will miss you.

We're gonna be looking good this year!! No big top, rather a mash tent with no sides, and a bull horn instead of a PA. Lets just call it a "grass roots" Dirtweek! Yes, Katrina and Rita caused the various agencies, including FEMA to CLEAN OUT the region of rental RV's and Tents/Big Tops, no biggie, they need 'em worse than we do.

Bob, I'd be glad to send up my little PA with someone passing thru.

"1" and some spare change. I'm afraid it will be the usual "can only sleep for a few hours, then take off for the 10 hour trip" again.

Posted by: YZ165

You're not alone Motometal, I haven't been able to sleep well in days......

Posted by: motometal

bikes are ready, heck I might ever take the time to sticker them up a little (normally i'm anti-bling and anti-sticker, but why not, eh?)
