Makers of oils will assure you their lubricants will last the life of the transmission. This may be true, but that life can be longer if you change the oil.

man i wanted to take up paragliding but the wife never got behind it. i did get to buy a windsurfer though and it rocks.

My windsurfer has been gathering dust since I started paragliding, that says something...
My wife prefers my flying. Windsurfing, I tended to be gone all day. Flying, I can get in a quick flight after work and still be home in time for dinner.
