Anybody have any experience with Shot Race Gear?

I was just offered a sponsorship (50% off retail all items in exchange for putting on the stickers, etc. . .). The thing is that the website I got the sponsorship offer through wants a one time fee of $50 to close the deal. The whole thing appears to be on the up and up, and I would have established a relationship with Shot MX which could lead to free gear next year . . .
I'm considering it . . .
