Where can I go to buy REAL ice screws, like kold kutters, or pro gold? I can get them off of **** cheap, but I dont want to wait, or pay those greedy fux at duty

Bulldog Powersports in Camb -650-0051
Something like $25.00 for 250 screws.

I have 2 types. I bought a box of the above and was given a hundred or so true Kold-Kutters. The Kold-Kutters are truly a better stud. Taller shoulders and sharper edges. I took one of each out to some black ice today and the cold-cutters cut in like a pair of freshly sharpened hockey skates. The Bulldog ones were like a pair of skates that needed to be sharpened, but better than my running shoe on the ice if you know what I mean.

I was quite interested in the Carriage bolt idea, giving up on that?

The reason I’m asking, the cold-cutters are great on the lake ice but as soon as you hit a rock or a frozen stick, they pretty much either tear out or rip the knob off. If you trail ride with them you loose the sharp edge from the dirt or loose the stud or entire knob. Once back on the lake after trail riding traction might be a thing of the past.

If I can find a spent front tire, I’m studdin.

Any mx shop should be able to order them for you

Try it, half the stupid fuggers don't know what your talking about! As for the carriage bolt, and nut, and washer thing, I don't really know about all that weight, I'm just looking at different options. The bolt idea also seems pretty pricey, especially if you tear something apart with them. I still need a rear tire

Forget the studs, we're going to need ice picks to break the surface.
Or maybe Speedfreek could offer his services, eh Stud!. hehehe
