Clarke.

IMS au natural

I say Clarke. I hated my IMS tank. Very poor quality and coinstruction. I was better off filling a trash bag with gasoline.

I don't mind oversize tanks but don't like the look of natural tanks... but then again that is the track queen in me talking!

I like the Clarke a whole lot more than the IMS, but I have been liking without even more lately. Clarke fits and looks better on the CR250 and CRF450 in my opinion.

whatever aj feels has the best fittment for this application, maybe fab up an aluminum subtank so you can keep the fit and finish of the oe tank?

I, too, concur

Don't have any experience with anything but clarke, but I think it need a dry break system (make it look like a full blown offroad race bike), so whichever could accommodate that.

IMS or whatever AJ thinks fits best.

What kind of range could you expect from the stock tank? The extra weight of additional fuel might not be worth the aggrivation IMO.

dry break system would be "wicked" cool ! Doo eeett!

I lean towards the stock tank for esthetics, but from a functionalit standpoint for offroad and woods you should probably have an oversized tank, with a reserve petcock.

I agree

Over sized, with what ever brand works best on the bike, with a dry break.

I know the west coast people need every drop of fuel they can get. But I had a IMS over side tank and it made the KDX handle like crap!

IMS Natual

Okay.. see the "Tank" Poll. Let there be no question on what is picked.
Clarke or IMS.
