Pipe protection?

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

It looks like the pipe is getting nailed down so now the question is do we add protection or not? There are three options because we'll there are three possible "solutions". All 3 are available for the AFX so make your choice.

My personal choice is to go with E-Line CF pipe guard as it offers great coverage and protection from the notmal expansion chamber dings and dents plus IMO seems to quiet things down a little.

I prefer aluminum guards or none at all.
If you are looking for bling factor, go e-line. I'm sure there are plenty who swear by them and they do look trick.

E-line, if it can survive me, it's bulletproof

An e-line or other CF pipe guard is a neccessity on a two-stroke IMO. I'll never ride without one again.

Keep in mind one thing about carbon fiber composite. It looks great until the first scuff, then it starts looking used and trashy.
