Pick the major brand, post the tire model

(subject to availability -- Poll closes March 2)

Dunlop 756 rear, Michelin S12 front.

I may have missed this but do we have a good idea of the test terrain?

Posted by: XRpredator

I KNEW I forgot a brand

Michelin! silly

Posted by: bsmith

I picked Maxxis since they support the site, yet if they don't have a tire that works well for the condition then my 2nd choice is Michelin.

IRC 140/80 M5B rear maxxis on the front

starcross ms2 both ends

Posted by: chevy383cid

756's or Starcross's No Other!!

Posted by: Chili

Michelin MS2's on both ends unless the testing is on hard pack then I would want an MH3 on the rear.

Aye.

I see a lot of 756s out there. Why? It's a great tire when new, but once you ride for 2 hrs, the tire knobs are already rounded off.

The IRC M5B is a real he man woman hater tire. Wider than wide. and holds up to the mean nasties that off roading brings to the table.

Okay, the poll isn't adding up. I show 8 posts for a combination, so that may be the way things run, unless one of the other brands jump into a commanding lead.

If it goes for a combination, I'll post two polls, one for front, one for rear.

I chose other instead of combination. whoopsie

Posted by: KiwiBird

Dunlop 756 front and Michelin S12 or IRC M5B rear

I agree on the 756 rear, but I've had excellent luck with the front holding up and the M12 rear wears like iron.

756 Front - S12 or Maxxis IT rear
