The other thing you can do is just run the carb dry. Shut the fuel petcock off and start the bike up, run it until it runs out of gas in the carb and stalls. At that point you will have essentially drained the carb. The amount of fuel left in there will be essentially nothing after you run it dry.

It's a two stroke, do not run it dry ever, this leans it out. Your engine will run without lubrication and may cause severe damage.
