I told the wife I would never sell this bike, as it is one of the best 125's I have had or ridden. But I need the space, and I only occasionally ride 2T nowadays, and I love my 125sx even more...so the YZ has to go.
1999 YZ 125L1
Renthal bars
Works Connection frame guards and skid plate
FMF Gold Series "Fatty" pipe
FMF Power Core silencer
YOT graphics & gripper seat cover
Pre-printed plate and side numbers (#117)
The bike is in VERY good condition. It has never been raced by anyone. It was used primarily as a learner for our oldest boy who grew out of his XR100 too fast, and broke his leg trying to jump a bit earlier than he was ready for, and it pretty much ended his passion for dirt biking.
(he has also discovered girls and cars since then...lol)
It has had the top end rebuilt one time since new, and was done before it really needed it.
The bike is showing a consistant 155psi compression as is.
I estimate it has about 8-10 hours run time on the current parts.
I like to think that I take very good care of my equipment, and try to do things by the book or better.
This bike would make a great ride for anyone who wants a small 2T. Best low end of any 125 I've ever ridden.
The brake lever is squirreled up just slightly from a lowside slideout, but it is fine for my one-finger useage and I haven't changed it yet. (lol, I've replaced the same lever three times) but if that is a deal breaker, I can replace that for you.
And I do have the service manual.
I am still digitally challanged, but I have some shots that I will have developed on disk in a couple of days that I will post up.
$1,000 u-haul

I would be glad to work out something as far as delivery. Perhaps we can meet up to ride somewhere and I can bring with? I really do not want to bother with the shipping hassle. But if you really want, we could work that out as well.
Lol...with gas prices it may well be cheaper to ship than to drive to get it. (shrug)
I am located just north of Louisville, Kentucky in S. Indiana.
Charlestown, to be exact.
You could buy it, and we can go over to Podium One Motoplex and you can race it right off the bat. If that is what you want to do, I will spring for your entry.

Jay,
Sounds tempting, I have a brother in Louisville...hmmm
I'll have to think about it.
Either way, good luck with the sale.

Bike is still in my trailer. It will be at Wardy's.
I'm always negotiable.
(I can throw in a can of camo loam green paint, and I know Sarge is hell with custom tank artwork!)

Posted by: MotoCruse
Looks to have been a little over a month since someone asked, but is the bike still for sale? What is the price? Thanks in advance!

I never did sell this bike. It has been garaged ever since these shots were taken. I start it every once an awhile.
This bike is a cherry folks.
I hate to let it go for this money, but I need both the space and the money, so $1000 takes it home.
This is a clean, above average bike that has been adult owned and maintained. Very low hours on the bike.
NADA value:
low retail $1,065
average retail $1,388
Kelly Blue Book value:
suggested retail $1,385
