1982 Honda xr80 plug gapping

Does anybody know what I should gap the plug for on my sons 1982 honda xr80. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We have been having problems starting it lately, it ran and started flawlessly until two days ago.

Most likely its the points and condensor not the plug.

Every time my kid's XR got hard to start, the valves were out of adjustment. s/b .002 intake: .oo3 exhaust. or the points closed up.
