Hey everybody, I'm trying to get some more racers involved in the ACR series for this year. The next stop on the series is at Broome-tioga in Binghamton NY on the National track!!!! We are also going to Southwick soon. We have been seeing alot of great racing action so far and want to continue to see more new faces showing up at signup so get those bikes fixed up and join us. Visit www.acrmx.com and check out whats happening. We had Marty Smith show up at Budds Creek and hopefully we'll see more guys like him at these events if we only get more of a turn out, so get the lead out!!! Later.

How about some vintage x-country. Kind of non-existent in these parts.

You put alot of stock into these old bikes to think that they can run hard for a couple hours straight huh? I'd go to one to watch!

I believe if you check the Potomac Vintage Riders web site, they have some listed down here.
Jumping Joe: Have Monark, will race, but later when things get busy down in the Mid-Atlantic. Would love to try those courses, but can't get there at present.

I watched a lot of old bikes run two days in a row at the 2003 ISDT/E Reunion Ride. Granted some of them took a while to start and a few died out on the course, but a large number of them did finish.

That's amazing! I mean I can run mine in the pineys for a day, but I'd be afraid to do it at race speeds for that long.

I am restoring a 78 RM 250 C-2. Would that be any good on the tracks you run on. Also a new track is going to be available in Eastern Conn. very soon that might run as much vintage as there is a need for. Is anyone up for unlimited riding/racing?

That RM is perfect. It falls into the evolution class for bikes between the years 78 and 83 with twin shocks, air cooled engine, and drum brakes. Now how about this new track? I heard from somewhere else about it too. Where is it exactly? Central Village was not too far for me so if this one's in eastern Conn. that would be great.

Rode it yesterday. My 79 Husky 250 OR and the owners CR 450 went for the maiden run. WOW! Your president knows about it. I can't reveal the local yet. Once the owner gives the greenlight you will know. Modern bikes will have to be very quiet. NO EXCEPTIONS The vintage bikes will probably be exempt. This is a private club. There will be rules and some kind of membership yearly and daily to those that are serious.
Stay tuned.
