Pulse Engineering header

So, I am looking in the back in the magazine and I see this odd looking circular header. The exhaust flow/pressure pulse follows a bizzare circular path, with a bleed off in 2 spots. This is not a lightweight design. But it is interesting. I wonder if there are any thoughts here on this forum about the actual function of this design.
Does it work to improve power in any part of the RPM range?
If it works, how does it work?
Does it reduce noise?
Are there some aspects of the design that might be changed to improve performance or noise attenuation.
Of course, I have my own thoughts on this design, and I will keep them to myself for now.

Do you have a web reference? Mild searching could not find anything. . .
One cylinder? Multiple? In a two cylinder Y-pipe the most important - or perhaps more correctly, the most common - consideration is helmholz resonation from the currently-inactive cylinder.

This is a dirt bike header. It is for single cylinder bikes. Not sure what applications it fits, but clearly it is designed for 4 stroke dirt bikes.
Picture a normal dirt bike header. Then picture the tube going up in a complete circle (a loop), intersecting itself, with a diameter about 8 inches. Then picture 2 bleed pipes (a Y header) off the aft end of this assy.
This unit simply replaces the stock header.
Bizzare

They also advertise an intake for two strokes that looks similar. I can't figure out how in the world it would fit.
