Pick deadline Friday January 4, 2008 at 11:59 PM (PST)

Remember to pick and designate a lites 3rd place finisher for a 10 point bonus.

Defoe you need to pick the 3rd place bonus rider in the lites class.

It has always been harder to predict that class in the past so that is why we use it

I am again reminded why this is called Fantasy SX.

After my accidental posts here last year, I decided that I would try to figure this odd game you play here, out. The more I study this, the less I understand it. So much for bringing in my 'new blood'

Ken it really is very simple
You pick 6 riders each race (2 can be from the previous race if you want) but must have at least a minimum of 2 from each class.
If you pick riders that are designated Bonus riders that week and they place in the top 10 their points double towards that weeks score (and your place). If you pick riders not designated bonus they only count the standard points (25 for 1st 22 for 2nd 20 for 3rd and on down to 1 for 20th)
You pick the one lites rider you think will place 3rd that week and if he does he gets you 10 points.
you post your picks and the day or so after the race I sit down and calculate how you placed and assign points based on your weekly position- these points are what carry over and build up for the season.

You have 3 races to play without paying to see if you can figure it out (it really is not as hard as you seem to try to make it ). If at that point you decide it isn't for you you drop out

Try it there will be plenty of help if you need it

Nikki I am always pretty lenient first race of the season because no one has any history yet and the more teams the more fun we have

the more I play it he less I understand it as well, but I continue to make my donation to the cause

MXgirl and Phil were out of town and sent it as soon a s they got home. Figuring the talk of extending todays deadline until noon PST she did beat that so I accepted their picks
