Choosing between SiDi and Alpinestars

Hi,
I would like to get a new pair of boots.
Which is a better boot
Sidi Crossfire SRS ( or TA )
or
Alpinestars Tech 10 ( or even 8 )
My shoe size is 13 ( SiDi boot size 11.5 after trying them on )
I saw that many of the proz wear Alpinestars, they are really popular. Is Alpinestars a better boot in general?

cant tell ya about the sidi, but the alpinestar t10 is pretty good. The soles on mine wore out a little quick though. Left sole lasted about 16 days of riding the right sole lasted alot longer, but it wore out too.

Put your feet in a pair and feel them. Both boots are good, which ones fit you the best at a price you want to pay?

I am very happy with my Sidi Crossfire boots
I have had them for over a year and they are holding up great

Don't forget about Gaerne SG10s. I believe most people would put them in the same category as the tech10s and crossfires. They are a very high quality boot. I know some pros wear them as well. Made in Italy.
