495 Restoration...Looking for Engine Tuner

(Click here to view the original thread with full colors/images)

I've got a 83 495MX that I am currently restoring w/ my sons. While it is torn down, I am looking for any old school tuners that can do some port work on this monster for a 09 project we have in the works. I've been able to find a DG pipe, FMF silencer, new plastic, new sprockets, new intake boot, brake pads and shoes...even found a new repro kickstart lever. Does MXBundy still frequent this site and how can a guy reach him (didn't know if he is still doing restorations)

I have a buddy who's building an 81 KTM495, he also has an 83 and his dad has an 84. There's supposed to be a good engine builder out of North or South Carolina. Why do you want to do a port job?

Very nice 495. I had a 1980 420, and have always wanted a 495. They were monsters!
