Maxxis I/T Rear

The Maxxis I/T is mounted (thanks to Nikki for hooking me up, these are hard to find right now) and has three days of hard pack/sandy mix on it. One word. AWESOME. I'm impressed! Granted, I'm coming off a worn 756, but this thing has far better straight-line braking and cornering grip than the 756 when new. Very predictable in corners unlike the 756 which is good to a point then lets loose all at once :scream: . I've been running 756's for a couple of years, but no more. I'll update later about wear. Hopefully we'll get some rain soon so I can report on better dirt

$45? Give this thing a try for intermediate terrain, it's sweet.

DITTO!!! I've got about 20 riding hours on mine, wears like iron.

Good bite in the rocks but wore out quickly. I could only use it for 1 Enduro and a couple of trail rides, 200 miles. The true down side is that this tire can not be flipped.

Why can't it be flipped? It's not directional or at least nothing indicates that it is. Aside from the fact the 4-strokes tend to wear out both sides of the knobs (on any tire)....

I put one on before the last desert scramble and it was great. Hooked up in the sand, on the shale, and the hard pack. Showed very little wear after being pounded at race pace for 80 miles. Best tire for the price I've found yet. I didn't see any directional arrows and the tread looks the same from either direction so it should be reversable.

Last night I looked to see what exactly I had from Maxxis and on the tire it was a M63. I ordered a intermediate terrain tire from Chaparral and the M63 is what they sent. Next I opened the Chaparral Catalog and my tire looks like a C-6001. Sorry to mix apples and oranges.
