I would go with 13s...you can always wear 2 pairs of socks (I like to).

BTW, I noticed MXSouth has some closeout specials on some boots (no Tech 8s that big, though). The MSRs were listed as having a size 13.

Don't go with the Tech 6's though. The soles have ripped out of them already and I have had them only 2 months.

Same with both pairs of Tech 8's I own. Butter soles.

I can't figure-out how this happens to you guys? I'm on my second season with the Tech 6's (that's riding 6-8 X per month), and have some wear, but nothing unusual. And I use IMS Pro pegs that are SHARP. Go figure.

I ordered a pair of boots from MXSouth. I didn't like the fit & feel wearing them around the house, so I called Jeff & he recommended a different brand, in size 11. I wear a 10-10.5 street shoe. He thought it'd be better to order a size larger, since it'd allow me to wear a thicker moto sock for added comfort. I shipped the first pair back & rec'd the replacements in about a week. If you're not in a rush, it's not a bad way to go.

Before picking a brand, try as many of them on as you can find. I had tried on about 5 different brands and fell in love with the Alpinestars. I purchased my Tech 8's from Sage and he gave me an awesome deal on them. Alpinestars sizes seem to run normal, that I could tell. I'm in a 7 (equates to a women's 9) and it fits perfect. Once you get the inner bootie broke in and squished down to fit your foot, they feel great.

I find using insoles (many variety/sizes to choose from) to custom fit my boots works very well. This makes going a larger size better.

I'm with you Okie, second season on my Tech 6's lots of rocky nasty trail miles. The soles look rough but not unrideable!

Remember if this is your first pair of boots, they will feel soooo much different then work boots they may all feel "weird" give them some time to break in
