coolant cooler tubes

hey, i just saw in rocky mc catalog these little tubes you put in line with your coolant lines on your bike,, they have plates coming off them to air cool the coolant that runs thru them, kinda like they way air cooled bikes work.. anyone tried them or think they really work?

The coolant goes through them too fast and they're too small. They don't have enough time to absorb any heat and/or dissapate any heat.
If they were longer, had longer fins or some sort of resistance in them (to slow the fluid enough to cool it) they might work. We've looked at them as well as tried them and didn't really see any difference.
