Decent dirt site.
I'm curious if the originator of this site is hooked up with Eagle Creek in any way?
A buddy of mine runs ATV hares and used to do the Eagle Creek thing. What he told me recently was that, they were in a hare scramble at eagle creek (june of july sometime) and my buddy said that one of the check points was being manned by the owner. When he rode in for the check-off, the guy couldn't even find his name and he had to point it out to him himself. That is when my buddy smelled liquor on the owners breath.
He thought nothing much more about it until he rode into the finish and they told him the race was cancelled. Apparently the ownner decided to leave the check point all of a sudden in his pick-up and on his way back he ran smack over the leader of the race seriously injuring him.
From what I hear, Eagle Creek and it's owner are knee deep in crappola right now.
I haven't heard how the lead rider that was injured is.
