We have some Northy boys coming to Florida to ride at Croom. We would also like to ride the Ocala National Forest, but we don't know where to go. Can anyone help us out?

Thanks for the help. Some place that's easy to get lost in, is our kind of place. With any luck we'll have to stay several extra days to find our way out!!!

I saw a guy at Crooms with a GPS and a trail map. It would probably be a good idea in the Ocala National Forest, but Crooms isn't that big. Have fun.

49,
You can camp and ride at Big Scrub camp ground, it's $4.00 a day and you can ride your bike right from your campsite. Definately bring a compus or GPS, you can easily get lost...hundreds of miles of trails out there. Also black bear this time of year, for your information

A GPS at Crooms. That's a little much. A compass & a map sounds good to me! Thanks for all your help!

Check with the Forestry service and ask if the Lake Delancy area in Ocala Forest is open. The trails are not as "beat up" as Big Scrub. And there are trees at the camping area!
