Places to ride: CA Bay area?

I'm considering a move to the San Francisco Bay area (Santa Rosa) but I'm worried the riding won't be as accessable as my native Arizona. Does anyone know where to ride there?

Here is an excellent source of information: http://www.offroadrider.com/

Here's another that has links to maps, etc...

Middle Creek in the Mendocino National Forest will be about 1.5 hours away and has a good trail network with plenty of singletrack for long loops. Cow Mountain is closer, maybe 1 hour from Santa Rosa and also has trails, but is generally lower elevation and manyof the trails are wider jeep trails.

ddd nailed it. I'll add that Stonyford is ~2.5 hour drive. Santa Rosa is a great area - only problem is going east from here is a PITA. There is a MX/SX track at the Ukiah fairgrounds but I've never been there. Ukiah is about an hour drive. Club Moto is probably 1 3/4 hour drive. Not sure about Sand Hill Ranch or Carnegie.

Thanks guys, don't think I'll ever beat the close riding areas we have here in AZ, but you do what you gotta.
