knee braces

I was talking to a friend who is really in to motocross and has won all kinds of awards and he told me that knee braces are a must have, and that knees are priceless, since he has torn both acl's and has 2 acls from different humans. He said that I need some good knee braces. So which ones are really good? i dont know which ones to get. I heard alot of good stuff about the asteriks, but are those any better then the evs rs- 6's. i was wondering what you guys use.
P.S. im a little new here so i dont know if i posted this in the right spot.

You did post in the right section, but try running a search on knee braces. It has been covered in depth.
