Pro Tapers...

I recently purchased the Doug Henry bend to replace the RM high bends that I bent. I didn't like the extreme pullback of the RM highs(2.87) so I got the DH bend (2.24). I love the bend but they are just not high enuff. So if I understand pro tapers specs list I should like the KX high but at 4.25" high I am wondering if they are too high? Thats abouts a 3/4" taller than the Doug Henry's at 3.62".

The next bar with similar pullback (2.13) is the Windham MX pro at 3.9" which is not as drastic a height change as the KX. I am assuming that the KX and Windham bend are a bit straighter than the DH bend but not by much.

I am 6' 3" and I have a 03 YZ 250 with universal mounts (3/4" rise). Are these pretty safe bends...nothing too drastic? not too straight?

i also have the universal mounts an i use the universal low bend. but im a lot shorter than you. you probaly know this already but the universal bends already have the rise of the clamps 3/4 in. built in the bar. what about the cr high? (to much sweep?) what are you looking for? a higher straighter bar?? just whatever sounds good to you try it out. sorry im not much help

Well I'm not made out of money so I gots to make the correct decision the first time. Does anyone use either of those 2 bends?

I use the PT Kx bend on my yz426, universal clamp which raises it about 3/4 in. I like it. I am 6'2"

FOX426: You don't have any issues with the bars being too high while sitting?
