Can get a great deal on either Castrol TTS, Maxima K2, or Maxima SuperM premix. I've read all the links here on both, but thought I'd try for any opinions one more time before buying a case.
Presently using Yamalube R, which seems o.k., but still smokey, dripping powervalve, etc.
thanks for any and all opinions,
Mark

If your a trail rider then I would use Maxima SuperM. If you race then go for K2.

I am using TTS for woods with good results no spooge, great response and almost no carbon accumulation (in my opinion it burn very clear and the pistons seems very nice).
I have spend alot of time jetting my bike in order to eliminate the spooge under woods riding conditions with this oil. I think that exists other oils more suitable for woods due to their low flaspoint but a 100% synthetic inspire me more confidence.
TTS disadvantage - price

Ended up getting K2. The deal was good, and Bill's pipes (which I'm using) was leaning towards the Maxima stuff. Got 6 liters, which should last awhile. Thanks,
Mark

Is Mobil 1 2T Racing the same oil as Mobil 1 Mx2t? Or what`s the diffrence?
Posted by: yamayz125
What 2t-oils do you use? I can choose between Castrol TTS, Shell Advance Racing X and Mobil 1 2T Racing. Which one do you recommend?
Posted by: Studboy
They are all good oils but I would choose between the MX2T (Mobil 1) and Castrol TTS, preferably the MX2T at 32:1-25:1 on your 125 depending.
What will you be using the bike for?
Posted by: yamayz125
I will be using the bike for mostly training and some races. I`m just going to drive on a mx-track.

I use it. Never any problems.

Try the MX2T, you won't be disapointed.
