Hi, I was looking towards buying the red axo vented gear and I wear a size 32 in pants and a size large t-shirt. What size should I get in tyhis gear? Is it true to size? Do you guys have and issues about this gear? I think it looks cool but i don't want any like super tight pants or anything. I tuck in my jerseys. Please reply, im going to make a move on some gear real soon.

I have the Type R pants in a 32 (my normal size) and they are a little snug. If you wear knee braces or even knee guards, they will be tight. I would recommend going to a 34 unless you are really smaller than 32. As for the shirt, I wear an XL. The chest and shoulders are fine but the sleeves are a little long. It is cool looking gear.

so, if i get the 34's, they are not going to be too big or loose?

No, not in my opinion. (YZracer53 is my son--didn't realize I was logged on under his user name) I would say my legs are on the small side of average and with knee guards (not braces) I have a difficult time squatting to work on the bike. These pants are smaller than say Thor Core gear in a 32. They are also tighter than No Fear. There is less of a difference between the AXO and No Fear than between AXO and Thor, but the AXO is the tightest.

will i be happy with this gear? Does it breathe well? Do you roll up the jersey or cut the sleeves? Is it pretty durable? Are you satisfied with it?

I roll up the sleeves, but I know others who just cut 'em off. I like the gear. It's comfortable and breathes as well as any.
I have had one small problem and it relates to the smallness in the knee area. While working on the bike, the stitching pulled loose slightly in the knee panel at the seam. When my wife washed the pants, the whole panel came unraveled. I emailed AXO and they gave me a return authorization to check out the problem. I haven't heard back yet so I'm withholding any judgement. If they had not been too tight, it wouldn't have happened. Several guys around here wear the stuff and no one else has had the same problem. I think it was because I got 'em too small. That's the consequences of mail order! No "try before you buy"! If I didn't wear anything on my knees it probably would not have been a problem either.

I wear 32 Levi jeans and also 32 AXO type-R air pants. I also wear a kidney belt under the pants and CTI2 knee braces.
