Motul 600 vs 800

I've recently switched to Motul premix simply because it is so easy to find. Every motorcycle shop I walk into has it in stock. With that said, I was recently talked out of 800 in favor of the 600. Been running it in my KX's (250 & 65) with no issues. Are there any reasons to spend the extra money on the 800? My son and I play ride with an occasional race.

The 800 is for extreme protection under high loads-i think the 600 would serve you very well.
