Anyone have a good on-line source for Mobil MX2T, the local autozone isn't very close and half the time they are out.

Don't know about shipping costs though...

Great service.

How far away is the auto store?
If you have someone working there that isn't a total jackass, you could order a case of it through them, and not have to deal with shipping and they should have it at the store in a few days. You might have to track down a manager to get what you want, but it might be easier than having to ship it.

The AV links will do, thanks

The closest Autozone is about 30 miles, and on the busiest parking lot, I mean road in the area. I'd rather they ship it to me.

Vic that is cool, where'd you find it ? :thumb:

I've been using the mx2t for about 2 years now. Just went to Yahoo to order another case. With shipping it works out to 30 dollars a gallon, 7.50 a qt, 3.25 a pint. About what I would pay at autozone (when they have it).

I think mx2t is a great oil and my bike runs well on it. But at 30 dollars a gallon, I'll be shopping around before I buy this year. I liked the amsoil 2000 and if it sells for about the same price locally it will be my choice this season.

I don't think either would be a bad deal, but maybe the mx2t isn't a GREAT deal, leaving other options open.

It's been a while, but I'm pretty sure it was through a Google search.

Considering Amsoil is over $7 a pint, and I won't use anything but full synthetic and I have yet to find anything cheaper I guess I will order a case.

The Amsoil 2000 2-stroke is $8.75 a qt at their online store, plus shipping. Of course, if you become a dealer it's cheaper, but it's something like $25 a year to become one.

As far as the price on amsoil. it depends on where you live and if you shop locally, also, can you find it in gross quantities. I saw it in the neighborhood of 25 bucks for a gallon locally.

Like Hig4s I would lean towards the full synthetic. I wasn't aware that amsoil 2000 is not. Thanks Hig4s.

My wording might have been confusing, AMSoil is full synth and one I would have full confidence in, I've just never found it at a reasonable price.

Thanks again HiG4s. I'm going to have to do a little homework in the near future since I only have enough Mobil for another tank or 2. Of course autozone is close by me and will probably have some in a pinch. Funny, the guy at the counter was amazed that people use it in mx bikes.

There is someone close by that has an amsoil dealer sign in his frontyard. Maybe I can contact him and see what he has. I'll let you know what I find.

Don't they all? I used the Amsoil 2000 in my bike all last year without problems, seemed like good stuff. I bought it for $8/qt. or $22/gal.

If I can get a gallon of amsoil for 22 dollars, I will be using it.

I bought a gallon of Amsoil injector/pre-mix for $15...smokin' deal. The old guy I bought it from sold it to me at dealer's cost. lol They want $30 for the same stuff at a local bike shop.
