I have been riding for a year in the dirt now. I have gotten pretty tired with the Hollister Hills and Carnegie parks. I have gone to Club Moto in Livermore, Prairie City in Folsom, and Metcalf in San Jose.
Can people tell me other good places to ride within an hour or two of San Francisco? I like MX tracks but trails are fun too. Thanks, my girlfriend and I would love to ride something new.

Deer Creek is the closest woods riding
its 30 min's past sonora
georgetown and foresthill are good too

Stonyford and Middle Creek are great options! Love both of the places.
In winter I would recommend Clear Creek which about 1 hour away from Hollister if memory serves me right.

ya, Clear Creek is 1.5 hours south of Hollister, so it's a drive for you, but you could go 10 times and still not know where you are riding it's so big.
Least for now.
There's nothing really close to you, though maybe on the north side of GG?

Theres a track up in Marysville, i forget the name though.. I rode there once many years ago, its still open.. Also in Tracy there is r-speed, its a members only track, meaning yuou pay so much a year too ride, Rivardspeed.com is the address..
