My company transferred me to another department! I called on Monday and my boss said "I'm glad you called, there have been some changes." Oh no. But apparently instead of canning me they shipped me across the building to another department, which happens to be under a nicer supervisor and where more of my friends work! It's still a sucky job but hopefully this will make it more bearable.
