I wasn't trying to be smart, jho. Just thought maybe I could help you and the buyer from a problem....
(trust me an '88rm80 takes a different sprocket)

I have a '90 YZ80 and am interested in the front sprocket. I have been meaning to get a larger rear sprocket, but i may get a smaller front one. Is the 13 teeth the same as the stock or smaller/larger? I cant seem to find the inforamtion in my Clymer manual, and my bike is at my grandmothers house so i cant check.

I briefly looked around on the web and couldn't find the info. Check out your bike and let me know.
BTW, a one tooth change on the front sprocket is a pretty radical change especially for a YZ80. You might consider a rear change of a tooth or two (more costly though).

The '90 YZ80 most likely came with a 14t front. Could possibly be a 15t also.
They did not come stock with a 13t.
Stock rear on the '90 is most likely a 46t, but could also be a 48t.
The 15/48 is a 3.2:1 ratio, the 14/46 is a 3.29:1 ratio. Not a noticible difference between the two combos. However the larger front combo will last longer.
I agree with jho, try a couple tooth more on the rear. Stay larger on the front if possible.
