best Las Vegas riding??

i will be in Las Vegas over the thanksgiving weekend
with my bike and looking for the best spots to ride locally?
any real cool spots you can point me to? a map or real good directions would be a great help too!!

Howdy, The weather should be perfect,I'm jealous. I went riding last year outside of boulder city. You take the right turn heading to needles and laughton and go about five miles and take the first left real road,park anywhere or go ten miles and it deadends at the big river. There is a old gold mining store and mine about ten miles from the turnoff. There are great trails and fire roads going up to the tops of the mountains. I think the area is called eldorado canyon. Have fun and bring lots of water.

If all goes as planned - I (along with about 10 others in our group) should be finishing the LA-Barstow-Vegas ride under the Welcome to Las Vegas sign about 4pm Saturday!!!!
