Buying protaper handlebar do I need a pro taper throttle tube? Also does the handlebar fit well with the oversized bar mount kit? It's gonna go to an 04 yz250f! Thanks

No need to buy any items other than mounting kit. Unless you are installing Barkbusters. Barkbusters require clamp kit.

My Protapers fit real well with the MX Bonz mount kit. From MXSouth.com. $80 for Bars, $50 for mount. Rode hard yesterday, very satisfied.

The Protapers taper down to 7/8" on the ends so that the stock throttle and levers will fit. As I'm sure you have heard, the Protapers are great bars - a couple months ago I was trail riding and ran into a power pole in 3rd gear... the bars (brake master cyl) hit first and there is no visible sign of anything wrong (not bent) - that crash somehow completely trashed my pipe, forunately I was OK...

my bike has the tag t2 privateer kit that includes the upper
t-clamp. includes grips....
