Opions

Is this decent?

If this one sucks, then who makes a quality set that won't cost me a kidney on the back market.

I have a pair that I purchased from the Cabelas reloading catalog. They look exactly the same as your link except that they have the Cabelas logo on them. I took mine to work when I received them and had the metrology guys check 'em out. They said they were pretty decent for the money. I just use them around the garage.....nothing too critical.

I got a 8" pair from Harbor Freight and they're fine. They say accurate with .001" so I guess I'll believe them. It's a cheap tool and you're getting what you pay for. Use you best judgement. A "good" caliper can run you 150-250. That's all I can say.

I've got a pair of those. They work great for things like measuring shims, clutch springs and plates etc.... It seems to be plenty accurate enough for the tollerences I've had to measure on my bike.
