I've read about it, and it sounds like a lot of fun, but that a GPS is now a necessity. Check out this site for a great ride report of the OBDR. Cycoactive

I was actually looking at places to ride in Oregon. I will be in Kennedy Meadows, CA for July 4, but I am heading up to Oregon after that. Where is this trail and what dates were you considering.
