I have a 1974 kawasaki 175 enduro. It is a two stroke. when i got it there were blinkers front and back, headlight, tail light and license plate bracket. what i'm wondering is if anybody has tried to license a bike this old and how hard it would be. I might do it just so i can ride around town in the summer or something.

Licensing is totally dependant on your State. If you were in New Mexico and you wanted to title and register an old bike it would be easy. Just take the bike to MVD for a VIN inspection, then take your official New Mexico Bill of Sale to Phyllis at High Desert Title and she can go to MVD and get you a title and registration. It costs a little more, but if you try to do it yourself, you'll get a different answer from everyone you talk to at MVD (everything from it can't be done to you're in the wrong line).
If you already have a title and it's a "street" title not an "off-road" title then all you gotta do is take that to MVD and register the bike.
Not sure how it works in Washington though.
