I just read on Fredette's site that he has named [aprilone] KDXOTY (KDX'er of The Year). " [aprilone] 's KDX Expertise is unsurpassed" , " ...demonstrates an incredible ability to squeeze blood out of a rock" says Jeff.

Wow, and to top things off I heard that Belray's HR1 was voted BTSOOTY (Best Two Stroke Oil Of The Year), for the third year in a row

And that comment about the rock, It was supposed to be "ability to Squeeze blood into a rock", a technique I have been able to master

I was shocked to see my user name as the KDX'er of the year.

What an honor. I have been training very hard. I would like to thank my sponsors, my hardcore KDX fans, my pit crew, and the wife / kids. And especially Jeff Fredette for noticing my superior riding skill. This will really give me the motivation needed to break into the GNCC this year. Look out Raines.

Hero? No. Standard bearer? Absolutely!! For now, like it or not, we are all locked in a struggle for the very survival of everything that is 2-stroke. It is a struggle that, if we are each able to muster just enough denial of reality, we can be sure to be able to win.

I know that the spirit of my old '80 KDX 175 shines lovingly down on us all as the new riding season blooms gloriously before us. Glorious green mountains, green forests, green fields! Not green from the flora, mind you; it is the green of the mighty KDX that illuminates us all!!

When I look at the upper right corner of my screen and see "Welcome, bleedngreen", I feel at last, truly, welcome.

I was stunned to see my name as KDX'er of the year. I thought it was a joke because of a reply to a post in ThumperTalk. In the XR250 forum I had mentioned that I had just ridden a KDX and liked it.

Somebody please help me. A great honor has been bestowed upon me, and in an effort to claim my prize, I angered the very person who nominated me, Jeff Fredette. In essence I called Fredette to find out if I needed to fly out to his place in order to receive my tiara? Apparently, in forgoting about the time difference from California to his mid west based residence, I ended up calling him at home at 3 AM. He thought it was a prank. So I told him it couldnt be, since the message was forwarded to me by the good folks at DRN, more specifically, Okiewan. Perhaps I should just fly out there and surprise he and his staff, no?
