lowering linkage for 04 yz 250

one of the guys i ride with bought a new 04 yz 250 and he said that it is way to tall for him, he can hardly touch the ground with his feet. he said he read in an issue of dirt rider that team yamaha use some kind of special piece on there linkages to lower it and would like to find something like that for his yz. do any of you guys know of any aftermarket companies that make anything like this?
