What pipe/silencer combo to get for an older bike?

Our '86 CR125 has needed a pipe that actually fits it, and a silencer with packing so we won't go deaf, and can take it to places with potentially fussy neighbors, for awhile, but my dad just told me to order the parts up now.
I was wondering what would be best, DG or Pro Circuit(are there any other companys that still make pipes for older bikes?). I would think the PC pipe would give better power, since the DG just claims to be a stock replacement, but PC doesn't make a silencer for it(what's the point of making the pipe, but not the silencer?). Would the DG silencer fit the PC pipe, even if it does, will the combo collide and make it less powerful? Any help would be appreciated.
