I'll be doing a top end in the morning and I was wondering if any of you guys can post torque specs for cylinder and the top piece.

What are your thoughts on break in and why was I told that cylinder doesn't need honing.

Also fork oil capacity as I just blew them

Thanks

Sorry Greg, don't have the specs, but why not include a workshop manual on your parts list?, it will be the 'part' you use the most and get most value from.

Cylinder torque 22 ft. pounds, head 20. fill your forks with forks compressed and no spring to 5.3 inches from the top.You dont have to hone your cyl. but your new rings will seat better if you do. :) Seems people break in engines in a variety of ways, do a search on break in procedure and see what you come up with. :ride:
