03' CRF450 Horsepower

Does anyone know what the stock Horsepower is for this bike. Is it any different than the 02' model?

I've seen dyno charts in the 45-50hp range{different mags and websites} with 34ft/lbs. of torque. I don't think the new ones have more peak HP, just different powerband. Then again I could be wrong !

having ridden a modified 02 and a stock 03 back to back, i would say that the power has not only been moved down lower but also increased. the 03 feels like it has alot more oomph. i would be surprised if the peak power on the dyno was the same on both bikes. the 03 pulls so much harder up hills and in deep loam. just my impression.

I have not ridden an 02' but I have an 03'. My buddies(two of them) rode the 02' and my 03' and they say the same thing as "bighaus"

ive heard anywhere between 50-55, 55 coming from the owner of one though...so i dont know how accurate it is, his bike been as close to a dyno as roseann has been to getting on a diet

They may have been quoting Honda's claim of 55hp, which isn't RWHP.
