2000' 250 EXC Hyd. clutch fluid ?

What type of fluid do you run in your hydraulic clutch? I broke the stock plastic one and replaced it with a steel braided on efrom EE. The direction said use car trany fluid. Can U use dextron car trany fluid

Most of the guys I know run fork fluid. I use 5wt some guys use 2.5wt. It works good and lightens the feel a small amount since it's lighter weight than the 10wt mineral oil. ATF is about 7wt and some guys use it but I don't know what type.

Go with fork oil. I tried tranny fluid, fork oil is a lighter pull. I have also heard it protects the seal in the slave cyl better.
