My riding buddies' 2000 cr250 feels like it has a scared cat under the back end, i.e. skittish and very un-hooked up. I believe he just needs more rebound dialed in and maybe a little compression but I just wanted to double check. He had the shock rebuilt and put a stiffer spring on but never adjusted it after the mods. Also, the bike really does not like to turn, change lines, or do anything other than rail the berm. My buddy resorts to brake sliding around corners and is slow as he cannot power slide around because the thing will swap ends in the blink of an eye due to the looseness of the rear end. I thought CR's handled quickly or was the 2000 a straight-liner? Thoughts? Suggestions? We plan to raise the forks and play with the rebound this week to try and get the bike to handle, but any and all input is appreciated. Thanks!

I would actually recomend that you reduce the Rebound damping to improve the feel. Check out my tunning guide!
