2001 Cr125 Transmission Fluid?

I just bought a 2001 Cr125 used and do not have a repair manual yet. I cant seem to get the level check screw off..What type of transmission fluid should I use and how much? Thanks

not sure if you're still looking for an answer here, but I have not seen a bike without a number stamped right on the case. Usually a number given in ml or cc's which are the same. As far as type of oil it's just preference. Manual will give several viscosities for different temps.

It's usually a good idea to stick with what was in there when the clutch was changed. If I get a bike with a decent clutch I stick with that juice until I swap out the discs at which time I usually go with ATF on 2 strokes.
