2001 honda cr125 problem starting

i got a 2001 honda cr125r the other day, and i rode it yesterday with no problems, and rode it today about 2hrs. i ran out of gas/oil so i filled it up and rode off and as i excelarated it acted as if i wasnt geting gas/oil, so i checked the choke and made sure the gas was on. so once i checked them i decided to shut it off, then after that i wouldnt restart. what would cause this? i took the spark plug off and cleaned it then put it back on and no go.. .. please let me know what u think

Replace the plug with a new one.

change the plug. If that does not help, clean the carb, check the reeds and do a compression check.

Yep, Change plug, Reeds, and maybe powervalves, does it have powervalves?
