Just bought a 2003 kx250. I went out riding and let a friend ride it. When he got back the backside of the front fender is rubbing the exhaust pipe. Anybody know where I should start looking to fix the problem?

Your friend fell, tweaked the fender, or bent your forks. Take the fender off and check for stretch mark/breaks around the mounting holes. The forks would need the wheel off, and the clamps loose and spin the fork tubes. He broke it, he bought it. Vintage Bob

Just curious how much would this cost if I took it in? What is this gonna cost me if I have to buy new forks and do it myself?

If the forks are bent, a shop is the last place to fix it. Check the fender yourself. If its the forks, I like MXTech, send it to a suspension specialist. This would be the first case of inverted forks bending that I have heard of.

Hold the wrenches and wallet a minute. It can not be the forks, unless the tire is pushing it. The fender bolts to the lower triple clamp. Grab the front brake and try moving the bike backwards and forwards, anything loose? Probably just bent the mounting holes in the fender, easy fix.
